Who is up

The Status Board is a grid of the hosts you monitor. Each tile shows the name, the role, and a badge: Online, Warning, or Offline, plus when it was last checked. Search by name. Filter to problems. Group by the person or business that host belongs to. Sort so the trouble is first.

The morning board already knows. Command Center can show a host that is down, a machine behind on patches, or a critical finding from the last security scan. Escalate that card and you land in IT Check.

Check one, or check the set you picked

Open a tile for Host Detail. Check that one host. Or select several tiles and check only those. A check of every monitored host asks you to confirm the count first, shows progress, and can be stopped. Results already finished stay. The phone and iPad run the same check through the Mac.

Hosts is the wider inventory: machines Ruby found, plus ones you added, including ones you are not monitoring yet. Domains and assets sit beside that list.

How hard each machine is working

Metrics shows the fleet at a glance: how many endpoints, how many problems, and who is behind on updates. Each host shows processor, memory, disk, and pending patches. A warning or an offline host is marked on that row. The board opens from the last saved check, so you see it immediately. A fresh check is the button you press.

What is on the machine

Host Detail goes past the tile. System, hardware, and network. Security tools Ruby found, and whether each one is running. A security scan with severity you can read. A short slice of recent errors. Installed software, listening ports, and running containers when that host has them. Ruby reports this. It does not install or repair from that screen.

An edge firewall you connect can show its interfaces on that detail. Keys and credentials stay on the Mac.

The sites

Website Watch lists your WordPress sites: updates waiting, SSL, and uptime. The list shows when it was last synced. Install updates only after you confirm, for one site or for several you selected. The phone can confirm that install. The key that talks to the sites stays on the Mac. A site that is down can also show up as a card you can snooze or finish.

Which machines can reach each other

Tailscale shows the machines that can reach each other, and what Ruby noticed. A rule change is a diff you review before it is applied. The keys stay on the Mac. The phone can read the same notes.

Remote access stays on this board too, as part of IT Check. A serious alert on the Mac can still show up on the phone.
